Envent Corporation supports remediation contractors, geotechnical consultants and vapor barrier engineers in the installation, deployment and monitoring of soil vapor extraction systems and vapor intrusion mitigation units. We are a fast acting emergency response contractor available for 24/7 response. Whether the need is commercial, industrial or residential Envent can help. Call or email us today, and let our engineers and technicians help you solve your vapor intrusion or vapor extraction problem.
Envent fabricates, installs, rents and operates soil vapor extraction units capable of treating up to 2000 CFM. We use primarily activated carbon, liquid scrubbers and thermal oxidation technologies in the extraction and destruction of vapors. Envent specializes in the remediation of VOCs, PCE, TCE, Benzene and other Hazardous Air Pollutants found underground.
Vapor intrusion is the movement of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), including BTEX compounds (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene), as well as chlorinated hydrocarbons and PFAS, from contaminated soil or groundwater into indoor air above affected sites. These vapors can migrate through cracks, utility penetrations, and foundation joints, potentially posing health risks to building occupants.
Envent provides the design and installation of vapor intrusion mitigation systems that protect buildings from these harmful vapors. Our systems are engineered to reduce the risk of chemical vapors entering occupied spaces and being inhaled by indoor occupants. Mitigation solutions can be installed proactively—where vapor intrusion may occur in the future—or reactively, where contamination is already present.
By applying advanced vapor extraction and control technologies, Envent ensures safe indoor environments while maintaining compliance with state and federal environmental standards.
Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) is the process of removing contaminated vapors such as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), BTEX, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and PFAS from deep within the ground’s unsaturated zone using controlled vacuum pressure. This technique involves drilling extraction wells into VOC-contaminated soil above the water table to remove harmful vapors trapped in the subsurface.
Envent’s SVE remediation service utilizes high-performance vacuum blowers and vapor extraction wells to induce gas flow through the subsurface, efficiently capturing and treating contaminated vapors. For compounds with low volatility, thermal enhancement techniques can be applied to heat the soil, increasing vapor pressure and improving removal efficiency.
Envent’s engineered SVE systems deliver reliable, regulatory-compliant solutions for soil remediation—protecting air quality, ensuring worker safety, and restoring site integrity.
Contact Envent if any of the following vapor-forming chemicals are present in your building’s subsurface:
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
BTEX compounds (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene)
Chlorinated hydrocarbons such as vinyl chloride, dichloroethene, and trichloroethane
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)
Select semivolatile organic compounds (SVOCs) such as naphthalene
Elemental mercury
Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and pesticides
Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S)
Envent collaborates with environmental consultants, geotechnical engineering firms, vapor intrusion specialists, engineers, and scientists to design and fabricate customized mitigation systems based on your site’s specific parameters, contamination levels, and remediation objectives.
Our in-house engineering team ensures each system is both technically sound and cost-effective, providing rapid deployment options using skid- and trailer-mounted units that can often be mobilized within hours. Envent also assists in securing all required permits—and in many regions, our systems are already pre-permitted for expedited use—allowing your project to move forward safely, efficiently, and in full regulatory compliance.
