A Regional Operations Manager manages all operational aspects and day to day business at his or her assigned location.  The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding all company policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, and must have an unwavering commitment to environmental, safety and health for all employees and clients.  In addition, the Regional Operations Manager must maintain customer relationships, address customer disputes, become intimate with customer contracts, and have a good understanding of the company’s business goals for his or her location. At times when operational support is limited or technical and for on the job training, the Regional Operations Manager will be required to support with operations.



Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirement


The Regional Operations Manager position requires a four year business, science or engineering degree.  Industry experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.  This position requires the ability to understand basic business principles, read and interpret financial information including P & L sheets, read and interpret technical documents and or procedures, contractual language, safety procedures and requirements.


The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, customer policies and an unwavering commitment to safety.  The position requires handling all business affairs with the highest ethical standards set forth by the company and its clients.


The position requires the candidate to be self motivated, responsible, assertive, a problem solver, able to work and achieve agreed upon sale’s goals with little or no supervision and a high degree of common sense.


The Regional Operations Manager must be an effective communicator, which requires the following skills:  leadership, writing, listening, and speaking.  It also requires the ability to interact effectively with all levels of customer and company management and the ability to speak effectively before customers, employees and organizations.


The Regional Operations Manager must be intimately familiar with the selection, operation, setup and recordkeeping requirements of all Envent systems and must have the ability to train all subordinates in the safe and effective selection and use.


The Regional Operations Manager shall understand materials of construction and be able to specify project – specific requirements for all deployments.


The Regional Operations Manager must ensure all regulatory permits are maintained and current for the Region and shall work closely with the corporate Director of Health, Environment and Safety to ensure compliance with rules, regulations and laws.


The Regional Operations Manager shall work closely with the Account Managers and Engineering Department to scope and manage projects for execution by his or her team.


The Regional Operations Manager must understand and effectively manage key financial issues that impact the company operation.  The candidate must be able to manage his or her costs and keep them within company guidelines.


The Regional Operations Manager must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word and other data base software.


The Regional Operations Manager must be proficient in the care and use of all site specific, facility and customer required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).  The candidate must be able to pass all site specific facility, company and industry tests.


The Regional Operations Manager must have a current valid driver license from state of residency and valid proof of insurance.  The candidate or employee must provide his or her motor vehicle record from the state of residency and must be insurable by the Envent Corporation insurance provider.


The Regional Operations Manager understands that he or she is working in a twenty four hour seven days a week (24/7) industry environment and as such understand they must be available on a 24/7 basis when required.





The Regional Operations Manager position will require travel and being away overnight up to twenty percent (20%) of the time.  You will be required to travel by vehicle or airline to meet and work with customers.
