Envent is a specialy environmental contract focussing on degassing and water treatment services. We have a team of chemical, mechanical and envronmental engineers, including pHD in Mechanical engineering that support our operations as well as work on our innovation projects. We are always working on innovating our services; developing new scrubber technologies, new degassing methods and new ways to improve our marketability. We want to grow while maintaining our high quality standards and our inch wide – mile deep philosophy.

THE POSITION

We are hiring a Strategic Marketing Intern (SMI). Envent Corporation (www.enventcorporation.com) is seeking a highly motivated individual who wants to create and build a strategic marketing program for a middle market well established (est. 1992) refinery & petrochemical environmental service contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to build a company Strategic Marketing Plan from scratch. This plan might include processes for communicating our service offerings to existing and new customers and a path forward for reporting on and developing strategic marketing plans for expansion in new regions Marketing efforts will focus on gaining more market share in a rapidly developing environmentally regulated business service. The plan will improve the way we communicate our offerings to both new and existing customers. The SMI will have responsibility for gaining an understanding of our business, then developing a marketing plan, presenting the plan to management and then implementing the plan. We envision a strategic plan the develops a strategy across multiple platforms (social media, marketing campaigns, digital, print, email, in-person). This is an exciting opportunity to see the immediate impacts your work in real-time.

The candidate should be a highly motivated individual looking to build REAL experience by doing hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. This role will help our sales team, operations team achieve greater success in building relationships and customers. We are flexible and this opportunity can be form fitted to your schedule. The candidate must have the ability to collaborate and proactively seek out information about our business. This may include spending some time in the field with sales and operations getting real life experience. The candidate must have very strong written and verbal communication skills.

This role will work closely with the President/CEO, Sales, Operations and Finance Department. This is a part time internship and a full-time post-graduation opportunity. We welcome those who are looking to build more tangible marketing experience while in school and those seeking opportunities post-graduation. This is also a tremendous opportunity for those looking to build other skill sets that include finance, sales and operations. We are a very lean so if an Intern is motivated and wants to build skills in other areas, we will work with them to do that. Envent was founded by refinery. The internship is a paid opportunity.
