Pipeline and Barge Degassing

PIPELINES
Envent is the world leader in pipeline degassing...we use thermal oxidizers, activated carbon scrubbers and liquid scrubbers to destruct the vapors from pipelines large and small.

Pipelines can contain large volumes of toxic and odorous emissions and when vented to the atmosphere can cause nuisance and community complaints. Controlling these emissions and minimizing your companies exposure is what Envent can do for you.

Even when the pipeline is purged with nitrogen, the VOC and Odor content of that vapor is enough to cause a problem.

VESSELS, BARGES AND SHIPS
Some air districts and agencies are requiring the control of vapors from refinery towers and vessels and propane/butane bullets and vessels. It is imperative that this is done correctly and safety. Envent is a leader in the degassing of refinery vessels, ships and barges.

VACUUM TRUCKS
A typical vacuum truck can spew forth 300 to 700 CFM of saturated >>100% gasoline or crude oil vapors. Controlling these vapors is not only good for the community, but also reduces worker exposure, improves safety, and complies with EPA and Local Regulatory Requirements.

• Envent has the ONLY oxidizers sized large enough to handle the full flow of a vacuum truck sucking gasoline. Refer to the attached calculations for gasoline and crude oil vapor loading from a vacuum truck.
• We also provide vapor scrubbers for vacuum truck off-gasses. See Odor/Vapor Control section for these systems.
• Envent systems are 99.9+% efficient-easily achieving the Benzene NESHAP standards. Our systems are constructed with the Best Available Control Technology (BACT).
